My new podcast, co-hosted by the brilliant and funny Washington Post food columnist Tamar Haspel, launches this week. It’s called Climavores, and it’s about eating on a changing planet. If you’re enjoying my columns about food and climate, I hope you’ll enjoy this too - we’re both pretty rigorous researchers, but we also have some fun, and as you’ll see we’ve got very different personalities. Tamar did not like it when I compared farmers markets to NASCAR races just because they’re both community venues for like-minded white people. And maybe it wasn’t the best comparison; NASCAR fans don’t delude themselves that they’re saving the planet.
